The Brooklyn Homeshow is a shopping event organized by a group of talented independent designers that create a diverse collection of handmade goods. The Homeshow is an outlet for designers to showcase their products to local buyers who may not have experienced the exciting world of handmade specialties available to them.
The Homeshow serves two purposes:
The Brooklyn Homeshow normally takes place in an artist's home in Brooklyn, but the 2009 show will be taking place in the front garden of an apartment building. Refreshments will be served throughout the day. Shoppers will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the local designers as well as shoppers in the area.
On October 24th, 2009, just before the start of the holiday season, an intimate shopping event will be taking place inside an apartment building in Park Slope Brooklyn. Several local artists and designers have been invited to showcase their handmade goods and to meet with shoppers for the one-day-only shopping event at 16th Street and 5th Avenue.
The show is located at 162 16th Street and 5th Avenue
Park Slope, Brooklyn.

While some of the artists accept PayPal and credit cards for their goods, bringing cash is always a safe bet!
Because by purchasing fantastic, unique, quality handmade goods, you're supporting conscious consumerism as well as our local artists and designers. Plus there's going to be music, food, drinks, and great goody gift bags for the taking!
